Eames: The Architect & the Painter, 2011

It was cool learning more about them, but it also felt really surface. I was left wishing i knew more about the Eames' process rather than quick cut to "oh they figured it out."I also fell asleep for a little bit before the opening at the Met. it also really felt like it was made for TV, whatever that means.

I thought it was a good overview... I feel like each aspect could be its own film (ie cranbrook years, eames as ladies man, studio process, 901 studio, etc) i didnt know that much about them so i enjoyed learning more-- dont know if i would recommend to someone who knows more than i...

I'm going to see it tomorrow, someone I know was good friends with Ray and has seen this so It will be interesting to see how this is.

it was decent. good overview, was hoping for more information on the physical process of the chair creation. the visuals in between scenes were a bit hoaky
