G-Rad happy hour!

Hey there, radmeisters! Let's have a g-rad happy hour/game night. Lots of folks seem to be around between Christmas and New Years. Pub43 sometime in the coming week? What do you think?

i vote for tuesday or wednesday night. maybe monday, too? although possibly most people will be getting back from holiday travel. if it's earlier in the week, then it won't be nearly as crowded, people will be less likely to have [travel] plans already and also, they might be wanting a break from family.

Now we should figure out:
1. How shall we advertise it?
2. Who has games? I think I maybe have a deck of cards but that's sort of boring. -
i have british scrabble (don't know if there is a difference) and mahjong (don't know how to play it).

It's this game where you have a list of topics where they begin "things that" and someone reads the topic and everyone writes down a response to the topic, then the reader reads all the responses and then everyone goes around trying to guess who wrote what.
it sounds complicated and lame but it's really fun!
